Snooker halls in katong area to recommend??

wah super nostalgic leh..

 

the place stinks.. is dark.. dirty.. but i like.. haha.. with the popiah uncle popping by frequently.

 

played there frequently in sec sch.. ard 93-94.

 

The uncle, "Popiah..ai Popiah mai, .....

 

Have even seen him at Boat Quay when KTV pubs were still popular then.

Last time still have Classic 40+ snooker tables, Mechmaster 70+ tables and also SBSC at National Stadium,

Katong Mall also have one snookerium at the basement 2 also 60-70 tables, Greenwood and Green Island.

 

Later, there's Colour Ball 3rd floor Roxy Sq,

There's another at the 2nd floor above the Lai Lai coffeeshop,

 

Katong Shopping Centre annexed block 2nd floor used to be very popular as it's 24hours gaming and snooker call RayMan, 3rd floor was Arcade.

Kalland Leisure was PRO snooker.

 

Now only Pro Snooker survive at Katong Shopping Centre 3rd floor the former location of Arcade.

 

The only decent one I would recommend is

1) Pro Snooker

2) Snooker Zone at TPY central near library, above Mac Donald. HDB Open air carpark near Shop N Save.

3) Snooker Culture, Lee Kai House at middle road 4th floor

4) Klassic at Jalan Besar, abover Macdonald

5) TPY safra - now close for renovation so only few tables available.

6) SPANS at Ah Hood Road

 

Average standard cushion

7) West Coast Recreation Centre.

8) Games Fusion at Depot Heights

9) Safra Tampines

10) East Coast Recreation Centre

 

Forget it and save your $$$$

11) At former republic cinema marine parade centre.

12) Beauty world

13) Safra Yishun

14) Safra Mount Faber

15) Safra Jurong West

16) Hougang Plaza
