Don't tell a story (esp Spooky ones) - that is not experience by yourself. Most of the time already exaggerated one..

I have this real exp.

Slept in KL Hotel (Eqxxxxxx) figure out yourself but its a long ago incident 1992.

Bunk in with a guy colleague when we visited customers in Petaling Jaya those days, company want to save costs, 2 person to a room...

So I slept facing my collegue who sleep facing up.

Suddenly I woke up by someone pull my hand down as my left arm hanging down the side of bed.

At that time, I also realise I cannot move my whole body like paralysed. so eyes can open and called my colleague.

I can hardly hear my shouts - If he is not pullin my hand down - WHO was ? I was damn scared and continued to try to pull back and finally said a prayer - the moment I say it - it releases my hand.'My whole body can move and I was having goose bumps.

Frankly I jump off my bed and dared not look under my bed and woke my friend up. told him the story and he was so afriad that we package our luggage and went to lobby and request to change room.

Got into another room slept. peacefully- I slept face up that time...

Real incident.

I used to have so many of such experiences....one can probably make a movie of out it...when got time i will share more

Haha 3 friends and I went to Taiwan for a budget holiday.

We stayed in a budget motel which I can't remember. Its either Asia Hotel or Rainbow Hotel.

The aircon duct/vent was the size of a 4 seat dining table. The cover of the duct was broken and there was no cover for the aircon vent.

The vent was directly mounted on the celling facing us. It was like a bottomless pit and u keep guessing whats on the other end of the vent.

On top of that, there was a wheezing sound coming out of the vent, something like a human being shreiking 'wooooooooooooo' the whole night.

And to top it off, when u open the hotel's window, u are welcome with a errie abandoned temple just beside u.

Wah kao we 4 guys could not sleep for 2 nights consecutive, then finally decide to spend more and changed to the waterfront amara hotel [laugh]

That is hotel design deficency and lack of maintanence

Always check if there is a burglar under the bed each time you enter a hotel room. There is how they steal from you when you sleep

My bro never believe in all these and is still waiting to see and experience one. He has travelled all over asia, north america and europe.

He always say 'It's all in the mind'.

[laugh]

A flash awakes me each time I was about to sleep in a KL hotel. It was from the ceiling. There was no clue/sign of it when I switche don the lights. No idea how I finally slept that night.

Then I realised they had installed heat detector that flashes in the dark (bad for health). Avoid Palace of Golden Horses (next to Selangor Turf Club)

okay.. my turn to share my real life experience...

somewhere 8 yrs ago, i stayed at Resort Hotel at Genting Highland. Was there with my ex-gf and stayed at a corner room.

As usual, we go casino and i won quite a fair bit there, having guided by a old man who just hide behind me and tell me what to bet every round. i still rem i bet 500 bucks a game and i won 14 rounds in a row.

Went back hotel at around 1am plus and slept there till 4am plus to get ready to go back. My hair will always "stand" up after sleeping, therefore, i walk into the bath room, bend down and shower my hair using the shower head. Just when i was washing my hair, i feel cold wind around me. i stop the water, look up and i saw the false ceiling (those false ceiling where you can push up the square shape board) being hold up in a 45 degree angle and it start SLIDING open.

I was like WTF!!! Being young with iron balls that time, i stepped onto the toilet bowl and move my head above the false ceiling to see. However, i start to notice that the distance btw the real cement ceiling and the false ceiling is only around 30 cm, just nice for the size of my head. by then, i realised something is not right as there isn't enough space for someone to crawl in between the real and the false ceiling.

i ran out of the toilet, wake up ex-gf up, carry everything on hand and quickly took life down to lobby. throw the key to the receiption and quickly got my ass into my car and speed down the hill...

this is a real experience and i always remember how scary it is...

There are people who can squeezed through 20cm space. Hotel staff can be creative like magicians

Thanks for the consolation. However, it does not explain the physical experience.

1. The vision of my friend on the other bed - during the ordeal and after I broke out of it remains the same.

2. The grip on my left hand pulling me down and me trying to pull back with my state of Paralysis - hallucinations is more visions than physical.

Frankly this is not the 1st time I kena stuck on the bed. I had 1 experience - at home before 1992.

My eldest sis complained to me a few times of this "paralysis" when she sleeps on her bed. She is scared and each time she said a Prayer, she will be able to break out of it.

All my siblings sleep in 1 room last time (4 of us).

1 night while she was away for holiday, I purposely slept on her bed the 1st time, only to experience this Paralysis - coincidence ? I did what she told me - pray - Bingo ! gone..

I want to believe the scientific analysis.

Thanks,

Checked the Geomancy?

there is a scientific explanation for this phenomena..i forgot what is it called, but apparently, this is a state where your mind is awake but your body isn't..happens more frequently if there are alot of things going thru your mind when you are about to sleep...i myself have experienced it quite a number of times...

I encountered that once somewhere in Bukit Panjang. I woke up, but lost my voice, could not move a limb for more than a minute (thought I was being tied up)

Don't understand why will people get rooms with no window?! I heard there was a fire in one of these hotels, the helicopter took a long time to rescue them, so they jump down the building.

Mortuary got no window?

In the 80's, I offen spend my leave resting in MY, Frasier's Hills bungalow yearly. I like the environment there and I use to stays at the bungalows there (Richmond Bungalow, Singapore House or Mobil House)

It was at one of those bungalow that my friend got his pants strip off every night....... [sweatdrop]. We were sleeping in the same room (2 single beds) and his pants got strip off for the 3 night we stays there but mine was intact.

It was during the last night that something woke me up around 4 am and just as I open my eyes, saw a dark figure standing beside the window. Its shock me for a few seconds before I gain my composure and jump up from my bed and switch on the light (as I am nearest to the door where the switches are).

My mind was thinking of an intruders in my room and as I switch on the lights, the dark figure disappear. Check all windows and all are locked. Went accross to my friend bed and found his pants being thrown onto the floor beside his bed and only had his underwear on.

Frasier's Hills is as cold as Genting during the night and according to my friend, he felt the pull of his pants but unable to do anything. [:(][:(]

Heh, I have a similar real life experience too, but its not my pants, but pullover !!

Here goes.....

It happened when I was on a business trip to Copenhagen 3years ago during the extremely cold winter month. As it was my first trip there, my kind colleagues booked me into a refurbished, but definitely old hotel with a rich history behind it!

It was so cold (-20degC) that I have to wear 2 layers of clothing with a tight pullover before I went to bed on the first night. As I had the whole queen bed to myself, I slept on 1 pillow, while using the other as bolster.

There was nothing unusual in the room, except that there were those wooden cross-beam overhead, and it was just COLD even with the heater on.

I had an early night, slept at 840pm with my 3 layers of clothing on, and a thick comforter over it. After a long while of deep sleep, I began to feel extremely cold, opened my eyes, and realised that the comforter was not covering me, probably due to my bad sleeping habits, I thought.

Then as I was sitting up to pull the comforter back on me, it dawned on me that I was only wearing my inner short-sleeve T-shirt !!

Where did my pullover go ?? I look around my bed, and there it was, folded neatly and placed on the floor beside my bed. And the extra pillow was placed neatly beside where I slept, wrinkle free as if someone just made the bed.

How could this happen? It really beats me, as the pullover is really tight around the neckline, I could not have taken it out sub-consciously, without exerting some force to remove it from my XL-size head.

Anyway, I said some prayers and "informed" who-so-ever there that I am just a traveller, using the room for 3 nights only. The clock showed 1130pm then.

I left the pullover and the pillow untouched after that for the next 2 days, and the next 2 nights was uneventful, heng ah !!

Told my colleagues about it the next day, and they simply said, those were kind spirits giving me a "cold" welcome, since it was my first stay there. They said that most colleagues from Asia had some kind of experience before....... Wah biang eh...... may be my colleagues want to sabo me !

Frankly, like many bros and sis here, I have travelled quite extensively, and this is the most remarkable encounter I ever had !
