Hi guys, i am thinking of spraying my rims, change colours.

Can i know roughly the damage and any good workshop to recommend?

I am concern if they bother to take out the tyres instead of spraying with the tyres on.

Thanks

my opinion? if you really want to change colours, get new rims...

if you die die wanna spray, spray with tyres on... best is a new set of tyres... then you can use the 'poker cards' method to spray...

taking out the tyres to spray, then putting it on will scrape paint off...

if you wanna use spray cans, expect it to last like 2-3 months at most... you want good durable paint in a can get the high temp type...

if you use a spray shop to get good quality paint... $50 minimum for one rim if i remember correctly....

unless you have oringinal expensive rims on hand, i suggest you save your time and effort and get new rims...

Better get it spray by those car spray paintshop ,1 rim at $50-$60 they will remove the tires coz they need to "sand" the rims ,not just 1 day job .

which paint?... spray shop? if spray shop... probably the life of ur rims if you take care... example if its like ENKEI 8 spoke the 'plus sign design'... theres a metal rim and if you leave it polised not sprayed then even when you change tyres wont touch the paint. if you spray the whole rim when you take out ur tyres sure to scratch the paint... re-spray very hard to get the quality of super hard coated colours on the original rims...

but seriously... i'm no expert...
