Lucaswh 1st Gear February 18, 2010 Share February 18, 2010 Hi all, though this might still be quite distant issue for me, but i've heard too much from family and friends alike about MIL and DIL disagreements, cold war. May I know what sorts of problems you all face as husbands when it comes to the MIL/DIL situation? It's not likely people always get along 100% of the time, so what do you do and how to have win win situation ? ↡ Advertisement

1l0v3you Clutched February 18, 2010 Share February 18, 2010 ehhh my friend is facing that problem. but it's a stupid problem caused by the MIL. her MIL makes her feel inferior cause my friend is not pretty but she is one hell of a nice girl. her son quite handsome and he is financially stable. even on their wedding day while my friend was doing her make up, the MIL was telling my friend: "put on more make up to cover that big face of yours." "put on more eye make up cause your eyes not nice" "why you never put dbl eyelid tape? you know your eyes so ugly right?" "wear redder lipstick cause your lips so thin" i find her really really mean. she left the room after i said i wanted some private time with my friend. my friend wanted to cry. but her husband always stand up for her. i remember joining them for dinner last time, the MIL was bitching on the dinner table about how ugly my friend is. the husband looked up and said: "mum, when you young you werent pretty either." POWERRRR hahaha.
