Nullifi3d 4th Gear February 19, 2010 Share February 19, 2010 Nice, but essentially an upsized S-Max.
Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear February 19, 2010 Share February 19, 2010 saw one on the PIE the other day... it's a really huge and boxy car... the first 2 rows are S-Max... last row of seats slightly more spacious, with more boot space... but performance leaves one really wanting... should wait for the ecoboost engines to arrive later... MadDog70 2nd Gear February 20, 2010 Author Share February 20, 2010 (edited) It will be a perfect 7-seater MPV if the ecoboost engines can deliver good power and good FC. Can't wait for it to arrive here for a test drive. Edited February 20, 2010 by MadDog70
MadDog70 2nd Gear February 21, 2010 Author Share February 21, 2010 Ford EcoBoost engine EcoBoost is a family of turbocharged and direct injected six-cylinder and four-cylinder gasoline engines produced by the Ford Motor Company. Engines equipped with EcoBoost technology are designed to deliver power and torque consistent with larger displacement, naturally aspirated engines while achieving approximately 20% better fuel efficiency and 15% reduced greenhouse emissions than these same engines. Relative to the power output and fuel efficiency of hybrid and diesel technologies, Ford sees EcoBoost as an affordable and versatile alternative and intends on using it extensively in future vehicle applications. Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear February 23, 2010 Share February 23, 2010 the current Galaxy 2.3Duratec 161bhp 6A/T going for $115k if i'm not wrong... it's already launched in RM showrooms... the 2.0Ecoboost 200bhp will be coming end-of-year, and will be fitted to Mondeo, S-Max and most probably the Galaxy... such huge cars really need the power to keep up with traffic man... Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear February 23, 2010 Share February 23, 2010 the 2.0L Ecoboost can be boosted to 275bhp from the standard 200bhp... the 1.6L Ecoboost has 180bhp, can be boosted to 250bhp if need be... really looking forward to these engines coming to singapore...but the Ford cars will be a lot costlier than current pricing suggests... ↡ Advertisement
