Fastest and slowest wait for car collection.

I was wondering what is the fastest possible time to collect a car after purchase? Is it possible to drive off on the same day? What about the longest someone had to wait for a car? To be meaningful, let's talk about mass market cars bought from either AD or PI.

my friend got her Lancer GLX 2 years back in 2 weeks.

Same Day will be near impossible. What with the paperwork for loans, fitment of stuff like e.g ( HU, IU leather seats etc.....)

Fastest I have known is 3 working days, and thats provided EVERYTHING is in place/ready stock.

Longest will be about 6 months, I think, for those who booked cars jus launched in europe, e.g. new E-class then......

2 months is roughly how long I waited for my tom yum last time.

IMO, ADs should have a few of their newest model on hand for immediate delivery so customers who decide fast get to haolian for a while.
