Miles 4th Gear February 11, 2010 Share February 11, 2010 Is the new key "better" than the old one (got mine in Oct 2009)? I prefer the new key because its lighter (used to like the BMW key because its really light) But i prefer the looks of the old key.
Eugn86 3rd Gear February 12, 2010 Share February 12, 2010 (edited) Audis are everywhere now. Used to be quite exclusive. Now the roads are full of BMWs, MBs and Audis. Audis are really striking with their LED DRLs. In my opinion, both A4 and C180 looks good. But MB is still a class above Audi in terms of brand cache. Audi is almost there, but not yet. Probably soon with their shocking increase in market share every year. Just follow your heart and decide which is the one your heart desires. C180's engine a bit too underwhelming for the weight of the car. Yes it accelerates to 100 under 10 seconds but it feels strained trying to achieve that. The A4's steering isn't as communicative but it shall do fine. If i have to choose between the 2 cars, i'll go for the A4. The engine is very easily tuned and lots of aftermarket accessories out there. Just check out the VAGSG forum. Lots of friends and support. No such thing for Merc. You will be surprised by the wonders a Stage 1 mod does to your driving experience. Edited February 12, 2010 by Eugn86
Maroon5 5th Gear February 12, 2010 Share February 12, 2010 the merc are fantastic on interior comfort and luxury, its something audi and bm (lagi far off) are still not there ...ok i know c class is more cramped but the quality of the leather, the chrome speedo n emblems simply shouts luxury in ur face as the driver... so see which u prefer la...drive/exterior or interior comfort/brand snobbery...anyw being seen driving any of two is equally effective in announcing you have reached "there" in life... good luck in ur decision making! But then, come to think of it, they have to offer more if you know what i mean. Ironically, their prices were iron clad. MB gave me an offer that is pretty hard to resist. The Germans just know how to make products that toy with your senses (steering feedback, engine noise, seats etc) and feeling (through branding, prestige etc). All these factors makes you pay more than what the Japanese cars are asking for. Just like how good a Sake, can never be as nice a French wine from the top 5 Vineyard in Bordeaux. Yup - PA SEs are very atas one... When we went there, the lady SE really like see us no up siah...which was too bad cos Audi was our first choice... On the whim, we decided to head into C&C (their building is just before PML which was our original destination) the next weekend - the lady SE who served us was really quite patient and after driving 3 different models, we signed on the spot with her... My friend who's in this industry told me that for a walk-in to sign on the spot is almost like striking 4-D as most would need time to consider and reconsider... I heard horror stories about PA SEs also, but fortunately the SE serving us is quite alright. Hmmm... maybe its because my wife walked in 1st? What u said is true, i needed another one whole afternoon just to make my decision. haha. i looking for black/black and just nice they only left with one unit. Extramint Clutched February 13, 2010 Share February 13, 2010 nice combo there. i would probably go for this combo as well. in fact, i think, choosing the right combination for exterior and interior will make a big difference as to whether this car will do better than the rest of the same models when you wish to sell later on.. i told my dad get black/black for his e250 AG but he's so stubborn. anyway, congratulations bro. Yeah i took resale into account as well. But i like black anyway. Looks good on the C-class. E250? Good car, competent powerplant, nice interior. And its selling like hot cakes now.
