No doubt the interior design and comfort wins any cars of it's class, but it is still an Ah Pek car IMO! [:p]

I did not even bother to test drive when I saw it in the showroom when it was launch...

True! When I was deciding on the next car to change about 2 yrs back, I did consider the Teana.

The first thing my wify told me when she first laid her eyes on the car was 'You may consider this car few more years down the road when you are Ah Pek! [bigcry] '

I bought the Mazda 6 instead... [cool]

i'd clearly go for the i45....

however, all reviews on the car say the 2.0L and 2.4L engine is noisy when accelerating and lacks the power for such class of cars.....

hmmm

purely for looks alone, it's the i45 for me....

or you should definitely wait for the Kia K5 to be launched....

bound to have much more equipment than the i45 can offer....

for the looks alone,

yes, it's definitely worth the 90k (2.0L i45 in this case)....in fact, i'd gladly pay $120k for the looks....

subaru though, hmmm....the sedan does look somewhat gawky at the rear....

and there's really not much of a difference in the interior of both cars (quality wise).

however, the i45 trumps the Legacy in terms of interior space as a whole....

basically the i45 is for those who like "Coupe-like looks with 4-door practicality", something like the VW CC or Mercedes CLS....

but it's brother, the Kia K5 is for people who like their cars to have that aggressive look....something that'll instill fear in young children....something that has road image....

K is it worth to put 90k plus on Hyundai. Where as Legacy is 100k plus.

I just realized that the i-45 tail light look kinda comical to me [laugh].

It looks like a pair of cury whiskers/ mustache that you usually found in those movie characters of the middle-east comedy.

I recommand you to buy Hyundai Tuscana or Subaru Impreza better fuel consumption the i145 not gud no power unless with 2,000 above engine la, and the i145 front design ugly

Turbocharged
(edited)

Hyundai i45 $95,999 - OMV $19,400

The 2000cc i45 weighs 1980kg, a little too heavy for a 2l. It may be underpowered.

Specs

Mark up of 22%

Chevrolet Epica $85,999 - OMV $20,500

Weighs a more reasonable 1500kg

Specs

http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/newcars_...p?CarCode=10462

Mark up of only 5%

I think the Epica is an underated car which costs $10,000 less and is an excellent alternative to the i45.

Epica comes with 6 speed auto, similar to i45.

What are your thoughts?
