teomingern 6th Gear May 1, 2018 Share May 1, 2018 Oh yes... of course not bad... I think at that point cos of the super high COE, something had to go to reduce the price to a more palatable level... what is your COE premium? Mine also has blind spot detection plus rear cross traffic alert with four front and back parking sensors... and front seats ventilation. I suppose all the rest of the stuff are standard - sunroof, duck zone climate control, foot parking brake, steering wheel controls with Bluetooth function and 18" rims? ↡ Advertisement

Any other matters Thank you 1) No major issues2) Look out for squealing sounds (bearings & bushings, especially for steering wheel), check if shock absorbers are good, check all the electronics especially power windows, power wing mirrors, get a good mechanic to look at the engine, and gearbox. 3) Petrol consumption is relatively high. If you've not driven a 2.0 L before then prepare for the shock. 4) 2.0 better. 2.4 fuel consumption is very high. Tax is also much higher. Not worth. 5) No issues. Many Hyundai models share the same parts. 6) Not that I am aware of. But I don't drive the i45. I drive the successor model the Sonata VIII... but engine and drive train the same. Any other matters Thank you Am currently driving a Jul 10 i45, 2.4 Litre. 1 No major issues except usual wear and tear parts. For mine, I have already change the following: a) Air-con Compressor b) Alternator c) Radiator d) Air-con fan e) Engine Mounting 2. As above, these are the parts that you need to take note of 3. An annual budget of 1K for maintenance may be appropriate depending on the condition of the car you are getting 4. For me, 2.4 Litre is better. 2 Litre underpower 5. So far, no concerns on availability of parts 6. Fuel consumption for me is around 11 to 12 KM/Litre. I would say this is pretty reasonable on a 2.4 Litre car Am also looking at upgrading my ride. If interested, maybe you can PM me and we can discuss further

Hi Bro, Many thank for your feedback. For 8 years old car, engine are the major issue to worry but I guess car maker are now more better in designing it to last. Anyway it is still under evaluation stage as I'm also looking at Mazada 6 11-12km/l is excellent for a 2.4L Hi Daryl Many thank for your feedback. It is still under evaluation as I'm also considering Mazada 6 ↡ Advertisement
