If u go west coast park during weekend, u'll enjoy watching so many people flying all type of kites until almost pretty crowded at times.

Some of the kites & reels in the website (Woodlands) you can get at Changi Village, the shop nearer to the famous nasi lemak. CV is cheaper though variety may not be as good as passion kite blog. When buying if possible check all the joints fit nicely.

A couple of years ago, I met a malay man at the East Coast Beach flyng kite...could not remember which stretch, but should be near to the Mac's. He sold a home-made mini eagle kite. Damn it was good. With very little wind, the kite just took off and remain in the air. Easy and fantastic.

Now I wanna look for him. The kit ewas about $10 or $12, couldnt rem now.

Any bro/sis here has this expereince or has met with this man? He was about 50+ to 60 years' old.

Found a stationary store in Punggol Plaza that carries a large collection of kites, reels and strings. If you are like me who like to touch and feel before buying, this is the place to got to. Prices are reasonable too.

how to get there : take the escalator to 2nd floor, the store is on the left after the escalator.
