Hello everyone,

Can the Makita 9227 be serviced or repaired locally?

Was using it over the weekend and it suddenly decided to call it quits, loud "piak" sound followed by "chao ta" smell.

Thanks. [laugh]

Most car polishing shops in Singapore has Makita. Easily available, good price, light weight.

Torque maybe not that good and machine balancing is a little off, but it is about 1/2 the price of a Flex. With Flex you can immediate feel the torque coming regardless of rpm that you are working on. And with Makita you can feel the head 'shakes' a little when you pull the trigger, Flex wise the machine head and body is stable.
