Went to the CNY bazaar last night. The bazaar area was damn big.... with a huge stage and big beer garden. Crowd was there. Traffic was madness.

Everything seems ok except for 1 thing

Even Chinatown will be boring...

I mean, it's just all NY goods....the same thing year after year. And the same old aunties and uncles...

What is there to see?

i've been to chinatown for the past 5 years. nice to see the goods slowly evolving [laugh] see what new "trendy" things they bring in. see the souvenior stalls there lelong their stuff until can buy 20 pewter keychain for 10 dollars (50 cents each)

so... every year must go back! noticed they dun sell mochi this year? Got some new biscuit products. [bigcry] was waiting all year for mochi!

went to the bishan one on fri nite. its quite sad, rather empty, and honestly, why anyone would buy a TV at a pasar malam is beyond me.

dont waste time unless you wanna bring kids to sit some rides, play some games. Even that isnt worth the effort, imo.

oh and theres a smelly beancurd stall in the middle, sheer stupidity.
