Bro, I drive a Toyota Vanguard. JDM 7-seater SUV that uses the Rav-4 platform. Has the bells and whistles, Cruise control, traction control, 4WD, 7-speed steptronic etc. FC is 10km/l at worst, usually can hit 10.5-11. Think PI no longer carry but you can source for 2nd hand ones. I was also looking around for 7-seater SUV and Sorento was a very close 2nd choice. All others such as Santa Fe, Fortuner did not really impress me.

If you are looking for top of the range 7-seater SUVs, can consider Toyota Prado or VW Touraeg, these are tanks!

bro, u mean the high pressure electric washer? no nvr use before. must plug into a tap one.

I planning to install onto my Vios lah, not Sorento...just saw an ad on installing DRL Daytime Running Light those Audi lookalike below my headlights.

Ace1 Auto advertising from $25 with free installation, takes less than 1 hr...

Maybe I email LTA first before installing...

wah bro...those monster Toyota Vanguard are too tall to enter HDB carparks, no meh? Like the Toyota Alphard, more than 2m tall, it's also way out of my budget leh, even for 2nd hand ones...

Maybe I settle for the Sorento when the damn COE head south in 2012...

I noticed now Kia no more selling the Sorento EX version liao hor?

CRV and Tucson is a 5-seater SUV leh...Santa Fe is a 7-seater SUV and wow..it looks really cool man the exterior...but interior I din notice much...

the LED lights are for cosmetic only lah...but it is not bad lah cos I linked the LED lights to my Fog Lights so whenever I on my Fog Lights, the small lights and the LED lights will come on, no need to on headlights in some cases...add brightness to my small lights...

Wow, if the Sorento got such problems of unlocking the front passenger door from inside even though its locked, then its really dangerous leh cos my 16 months old daughter also likes to pull on the passenger door handle from inside while driving...lucky my Vios is very reliable...whew... [bigcry]

I presume your installer is suggesting installing an active sub for you. But why he suggest that, just wondering cause speakers and subs are poles apart due to the sound they produce (knife sharp sharp). Could it be when hooking up you new HU. The wiring or the crossover never place properly? I got a cracking sound too from my previous ride. I went back to my installer and he re-position my crossover and the sound was gone.

post-65912-1295485456_thumb.jpgSorry for the sidetracking from DRLs and speakers, interesting fyi i noticed:

Was speaking to my friend who just returned from the States, he rented a Ford Edge SUV and had alot of praise for it. Drives very smooth, easy start in heavy snow, plush cabin etc. He wants to buy it here but unfortunately i dont think they bring it to Singapore. He sent me a photo of the SUV and I noticed something; it looks almost identical to our Sorento..!

I created a simple photo comparison between his rental Edge and my Sorento, check out the body lines in the attached photo (hope my photo uploading works).
