hey bodyglove.. i think its on 4th floor too, my wife drives it to work.. so happy to collect it last sat, but guess what? last 3 days i can only walk past it in the mornings, admire for 2 seconds, then walk to mrt station and take train hahaha.. she drive, i stand in mrt train & dream of sorento :-P

 

yesterday i saw an expat fella along pickering street, stare at the sorento until he spilled his coffee when he accidentally stumbled on a road kerb, aiyoh

 

Wow.. u really sayang ur wife... she drives and u take train.. haha.. Guess ur wife muz be enjoying the ride...

 

Haha.. the angmo is so funny, itz just like a commercial... Think many people still yet to know there is such a beauty on the road rite now...

btw the ipod connector is quite good; automatically your song titles and artist names appear on the entertainment unit display, can move thru songs, adjust volume from ur steering wheel. Very seamless, when u disconnect the ipod, it automatically switches back to radio stations. Oh yah; the ipod gets charged at the same time. Same goes when u connect USB drive to the car.

 

The bluetooth however is not directly synched to the entertainment unit; when ur call comes in, the music doesnt stop, u need to mute the radio. Call quality is clear and stable inside the car

btw another feature you will find useful; the anti-glare reverse mirror button.. driving at night u can see the effectiveness, cuts down on bright headlights well, but any small sedan in front of you poor thing; sorento's HID lights are very bright and sit quite high, right into the sedan's eye level i think

I just collected my sorento but there are some dented on my bonnet, any bro here encounter problem when collecting your vehicle? :angry:

 

BTW, my reverse camera is a small square box right infront on the driver seat, not as mentioned in the rear view mirror or on the dash board. I will try to load the pic.

 

Bro Sgsorento, can u PM me the price for the side step and the luggage cover? My mum complaint is too high for her.

no dents spotted on bonnet or around the car leh, during collection time the SE will walk with you round the vehicle for detailed inspection before u sign the collection paper. Rearview camera; sounds locally fitted by C&C? , so far factory-equip sorento dont have that location mounting, or maybe yours is a new style of mounting from korea

u r actually paying additional for the coe..not for the car...tink u need to understand tat...i tink wish n stream is also nearing what is the price of sorento now..and the other cars are only 1.8 n 2.0 only. functions wise also lose out.
