What to do if insurance policy lost???

Hi guys need help!!! As above, I misplaced my insurance policy somewhere and could not find it. Is it possible to ask them to send a new copy over? Btw, my insurance is from AIG. Thanks a million!!!

I thou the important piece of paper is the Certificate of Insurance, whereby all the vital info are found in the CI.

I lost my CI (in a very nice leathered file) while house moving.

Called the Customer Service and got the Summary of insurance/ investment in a couple of days.

Dunno if this is what TS wants as well..

Contact your agent or AIG and ask them to resend you a copy, subject to charges from them. Think so long as you are insured under them, you will have a policy number and should be fine even though you misplaced the hardcopy.

If CI is for the purpose of renewing road tax than you can do online renewal. Don't even need to show CI. LTA will be able to access the validity of your insurance with AIG.

just call and ask for your policy no, if u need to claim against insurance then they can always fax the policy document to the authorized workshop if the workshop demands.
