Actually I *loved* the South American special. Best one to date, IMO. Always wanted to see the Bolivian death road in action, and it didn't disappoint.

And its always the nicest when they are doing the specials - north pole, vietnam, south america, winter olympic etc etc.

 

Fifth Gear IMO cant even hold a candle.

Think Top Gear is so popular because they're not afraid to tell it as it is. If a car sucks, they'll tell the honest truth about it...and make it damn funny at the same time. Offensive to some, but they heck care...Cool lor!

JC deserve what he is paid...tho I feel TG has become a little too 'rubbish' in recent years. But changes will be made to improve it (that was what Andy Wilman said) ...so let see what they can do in the next few seasons.

Jeremy Clarkson deserves such salary amounts and more...in fact, he's the Simon Cowell of the car industry...

 

Fifthgear and TopGear, though automotive programmes, cannot be compared as their style is totally different...

 

Topgear of past were long and a bit too boring...the later seasons were funnier, more interesting and more involving...

 

it's because they present 'rubbish and nonsense', and are humorous, hence their popularity...

 

can't wait for Season15 to come in Spring!!
