Blackseal 1st Gear January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 Regardless of whether you're a petrolhead or not, you should know this figure pictured above. He is Jeremy Clarkson, the famous (or some say infamous) presenter in BBC's popular motoring entertainment show, Top Gear. While most of the world was in a recession last year, Jeremy Clarkson took home a substantial ↡ Advertisement
Nullifi3d 4th Gear January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 Whatever they're paying him, its working. Although the last season of TG was a fair let down, its still better than watching Strictly Come Dancing.

Although the last season of TG was a fair let down, its still better than watching Strictly Come Dancing. Actually I *loved* the South American special. Best one to date, IMO. Always wanted to see the Bolivian death road in action, and it didn't disappoint.

Acanthus Neutral Newbie January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 Nothing beats TOP GEAR. And its always the nicest when they are doing the specials - north pole, vietnam, south america, winter olympic etc etc. Fifth Gear IMO cant even hold a candle. Hermitage 1st Gear January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 Yep, he EARNS his keep! Unlike certain People we know, very Action but do nothing, only make their own Party happy! Think Top Gear is so popular because they're not afraid to tell it as it is. If a car sucks, they'll tell the honest truth about it...and make it damn funny at the same time. Offensive to some, but they heck care...Cool lor!
Pinkypink Neutral Newbie January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 only Top Gear can crash cars and get away with it! :p
Silver_blade Turbocharged January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 JC deserve what he is paid...tho I feel TG has become a little too 'rubbish' in recent years. But changes will be made to improve it (that was what Andy Wilman said) ...so let see what they can do in the next few seasons.

Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear January 29, 2010 Share January 29, 2010 Jeremy Clarkson deserves such salary amounts and more...in fact, he's the Simon Cowell of the car industry... Fifthgear and TopGear, though automotive programmes, cannot be compared as their style is totally different... Topgear of past were long and a bit too boring...the later seasons were funnier, more interesting and more involving... it's because they present 'rubbish and nonsense', and are humorous, hence their popularity... can't wait for Season15 to come in Spring!! ↡ Advertisement
