I used this last time in my V6 Camry before when i was in States, it does nothing, no improvement in anything at all.

Probably another marketing gimmick.....I realized that there are too many of these these days....

 

But I won't bet it adding into my engine oil. Not sure what the reaction will be inside the engine internals...

what abt rewitec nanocoating for engine treatment? any comment

 

Never heard about it before but if there's a special formula or additives that works wonders, then those engine oil blender would have incorporate it into their oil additives package.

Yep, I second that opinion! They do nothing except maybe give your engine a little more protection, which it doesn't need for everyday driving.

 

Regular servicing is more than enough!

Just a waste of money. Worse if it does even more damage to the engine.

Hi Verve,

 

I got this Oil System Cleaner for $30 at Jamsauto when I service my 4.5yo vios. I was looking for engine flush then (just bought the 2nd hand car).

Not bad, the mechanic poured in a bottle and told me to drive for a few days for the engine to be thoroughly cleaned.

During the 1-2 days of driving, I felt the engine lighter and more responsive. I did a complete oil change 1 day before CNY eve. It was good.

 

Next time I'll try their throttle body wash service.

 

BTW, this workshop did mobile car servicing, I was recommended by a friend who tried their service. My friend has an OPC car so he called them to his house for servicing (and save the daily drive coupon ) I don't have their number now but I think you can find them at Jams Auto.
