Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear February 2, 2010 Share February 2, 2010 sorry...0-100kph for 2.0TDI 140bhp 7DSG is 14.3s, for the 2.0Bi-TDI 180bhp 7DSG is 11.3s... that's very good already, especially for the LWB models, weighing in excess of 2.4tonnes... ↡ Advertisement
Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear February 2, 2010 Share February 2, 2010 ever tried Opel Combo 1.3MTA?? it's a clutchless manual transmission... VW Caddy also a good choice, especially with the 6DSG option... but pretty expensive...
Gentoro Clutched February 2, 2010 Share February 2, 2010 Avoid all Kangoo 1.9D. Will have issues with fuel pump every 2-3 yrs and cost SGD1,xxx to replace. The 1.5T and newer no longer has this problem. If you are buying used, I will say go for the Berlingo, Doblo than the Kangoo. If you are buying new, then the new Berlingo is great :) Its not the fuel pump that kaput, its the Fuel Flow Control Actuator that kaput which is so exp to replace. 2nd hand one ard $500-$700 and yes, its troublesome. Turbogoo Neutral Newbie February 2, 2010 Share February 2, 2010 Oh that is terrible experience in Billy That time was back in 2007 the last i service from them. I remembered there was once my rear wiper (original) damn terok and they keep asking me change. I did not change till i sold off the kangoo. Haha. There was also once they asked me to change battery. Then i thought they b-------tting me. So i said no need. Then i still happily drove for another 2 weeks without any problems.....but right after the second week, my car "went dead', cannot start....so they were right. Just like you, I really miss my kangoo after i sold it. It could transport so many things, including those big piece furniture I bought from IKEA. The open roof flap is such a useful feature. I test drove the berlingo before I bought the kangoo. The kangoo looks cuter la...but looks is subjective and I really feel more happy travelling in a kangoo....because it's supposed to be a fun van :) i owe a 2004 kangoo (1.9D) before also. and i dun realli like BCC.. advisor was telling me change wiper when i just change few days ago, ask me change air con filter when i just change few days ago.. tell him wiper just change his face change. haha.. tell him take out aircon filter for me to see whether dirty a not he tell me hard to take out (ya kangoo air con filter troublesome to take out.. not like car at passenger side one). also kana a major accident before and went BCC for repair.the repair bill ended up 19k..BCC is super expensive man.. give up on them and went united motor instead ..but maybe they have change for the better now.. the fuel pump i kana 2 times in my 5 ownership.. both change under warranty.. air con knob faulty 2 times also.. kangoo to me is a sensible choice.. cheap running cost provided dun kana the fuel pump problem. so as per the others advise get the 1.5 if possible. i still miss my kangoo nowadays.. Renaultdriver Neutral Newbie February 2, 2012 Share February 2, 2012 Dear All current/ex Kangoo bros, I just got a Kangoo 1.4 petrol auto, 12/2004. Boh pian can only afford this. Stall when brake at traffic light. Will go BCC to sort things out. Concerns: Is Kangoo really problematic?? Odometer reads 120,000+ kms. Quite eat petrol one - is this normal?? Anyone know the agar-agar fuel consumption?? Thanks for any opinions... ↡ Advertisement
