Most people when experience BG breakup have suicidal thots. I remember when I 18 yrs old GF left me. I also tot die b4. Esp you live and breathe for them. Its how you snap out of it - that is most important.

 

She belongs to those who can't snap out of it - She SNAPPED !

When she jump, the next 2 secs she already fainted so frankly she don't feel pain.

 

I don't pity her. I heart goes to the old lady...

i think they continue CPR becos they have no rights/authority to pronounce the girl dead.... probably only doctor can? not sure about this

 

in any case, CPR artificial breathing is meant to be applied when there is no pulse or breathing or both.

Have you seen a actual victim of high rise jumper?

The body will not be crush as in run over by vehicle.

 

Anyway, as a medic before, unless clear cut case... we were told to keep trying whatever we can do until a doctor declare the victim's dead.

I have seen close-up a couple of jumpers b4.

 

1 fell just past my window & I ran down to see if anything cud b done but she was already almost dead.

 

Not much blood as mostly internal injuries. Falling from >10 floors up, your chances r almost nil, unless u hit some stuff along th way to break your fall or the ground is very soft.

 

Then maybe got "some" chance depending on how u hit the ground. But still chances r they wil still have many internal injuries.

 

The idea of "keep trying" might even do more harm than good as the pumping of the chest might aggrivate the internal injuries.

But even for those excutioners at Changi Prison, after they perform an execution, they r handcuffed & taken before a Judge & wil b released after the Judge declare its justifiable homicide.

 

I know cos I personally know someone who is an executioner at Changi Prison.

The license to kill is already there. Kill the pple by sucking their blood till dry.

 

For the executioners, its the letter of the law. U kill someone, u must b held accountable.

you can actually keep doing the compression without giving ventilation ( known as the CCR ) as we were told that compression helps better then the ventilation...but somehow if we have the proper equipments or one more guy to help u i think we just do as for normal both compression and ventilation...anyway i've broken quite a no. of RIBS during my ns life as a medic...dont be surprise becos if we never compress hard enough, its like no use lo... must compress like 4-5cm deep O_O any more ex-medics ard ?? =/
