Which Bak Kwa is nice?

They are still at Jalan Kayu. I frequent the one at Tampines Ave 4

Contrary to what I say earlier, this is the only bak kua that I used to eat during cny and no time else. The fragrance that permeates the whole Jalan Kayu from their roasting is too much to bear for an army boy that cannot go home.

Bak kwa so expensive. CO on normal days dont eat, everytime must wait until prices skyrocket before LNY then want to buy and eat.

Bought before during non CNY period at their Chinatown store. Dry and hard, not nice at all.  

 

LCG bak kua tasted abit weird during the initial fiasco when KJG opened their own stall, maybe they changed supplier? Nowadays LCG back to their usual standard liao.

 

And any bak kwa lover should avoid buying bak kwa during cny where no matter which brand and outlet, they taste their worst.

Kim Hwa Guan (金华源)

has the best bah kwa in Singapore. Soft and tender.

Really no horse run.

Fridge I would think at most 1-3 months.  Freezer probably up to a year.

Not ot discredit any1 here, Ba kua are processed foods, best not to eat too much, let alone has higher fat ratio and cause heart diseases and high cholesterol .

 

I can't think of anything else on freezing unless you lives in north poles , that is equally bad too. Opps !

I bought 1 kg of LCG's bak kwa at S$50 over the weekend.
