Initial impressions of honda fit

The only thing i see lousy here is the driver! Your car was new and was probably not run in yet. Considering how frequently you like to boast about your first 2 gears, what kind of FC are you do you expect? If the car is so lousy like you mentioned, I don't think you would be alive and kicking to post in this forum anymore.

to me its already loss

even if tomorrow they called and say it only costs 5k to repair, i'm going to scrape it

my insurance won't be affected because i'm not claiming anything at all

 

all in all i'll see it as a lesson learnt

never buy korean cars no matter how fanciful they might look

this is where i appreciate the polo. let go the gas the brakes will hold for 3secs. on drive mode the gas is a little laggy, sufficient for normal driving yet if step wrong pedal the car wont immediately for forward.

 

change to Sports the drive becomes more spirited den.

the car had a very poor design, i was trying to find the kerb when i stepped on the wrong pedal

had the car have a better design, i won't even need to find the kerb

 

fit has a FC of 16km/l

lets see how you can do that in your koup

2 front airbags were activated and i'd rather they not be, they nearly killed me when they came out

i felt like somebody gave me such a huge punch on my face that it nearly crushed my rips

 

after being hit on the face i totally couldn't walk, i crawled out of the car and had to sit around for 5 mins before i managed to get on my feet again

understand the fuel tank is only 33L, the car should be able to go 16km/l, how true is this?

 

There is an article in Torque Aug'09 issue, comparing the actual fuel consumption vs the fuel consumption stated, and Jazz 1.3M was one of the tested cars. It achieved 12.5km/l. Anyway I believe that getting better FC is possible depending on how you drive it.

Your buddy CH_CO drives a Fit btw. I strongly advise you to look at other alternatives first before locking on into the Fit.
