I believe most are sensible and know what they are doing. Buying a car is not a small decision for most s'porean....they have probably think it over many times and spending nights working out their budget.

Hehe, the people I know are mainly people who do not know what is "COE" and think it is "CEO". [sweatdrop]

And their maths make me [speechless]

Should be a good choice lah. After a good consideration and budgeting, can't go too wrong even if it does. Just hope you get the COE and enjoy your new ride. :D :D

When I was deciding to buy a 2nd car...also think like liao and it wasn't an easy thing to do....cos we have to cut down on other expenses eg. eating at restaurant, no. of expensive holidays, etc....

I also know some who are like that. Their sums are really simple eg. can sell used car w/o too much top up, buy new car w/almost the same monthly installments = good buy. I guess everyone work differently. Importantly, everyone is happy with their decision and I share their joy too. :D :D

Neutral Newbie

Whatever goes up, surely must come down.

As from now, gulible car buyers will be driven by the herds....fearing COE will goes up to 30K, so many will rush to buy, hoping not to miss the boat.

AD will add kerosene & petrol to the GREED. See tonight NEWS, confrim they will say COE will hit 30K.

Prudent car buyer (with loads of cash) will just wait, waiting for the kill.

Just like Stock market, just like stock market, or property?

well...nothing in this world is certain. u may say this...but r u also certain that it will come down? gullible?greedy? i don tink so. most r adults who can tink for themselves. the best time to buy a car?...is the time when u r ready to buy a car. doesn't matter coe high or low, if they tink they can afford, go ahead.
