I dun think they have no funds at all to buy players although it is true that they probably won't be giving a lot of money for the new manager to spend (who gives a lot these days in any case). I think it is likely the liverpool board do not trust Rafa to make astute purchases if they were to give him the money and hence been dragging their feet when rafa asked for more money.

However, it has made me excited enough to chill my wine. I will open it to celebrate if the departure is confirmed.

 

I also hope Man.C buys Torres or Gerrard. We need the $$.
