Lala81 Hypersonic January 10, 2010 Share January 10, 2010 (edited) Deciding between the 2. Mainly for surfing, facebook, talk to fiancee on MSN while at work Anyone with any negative/positive feedback regarding their experiences? I've tried my colleague's starhub ? 3.6mbps (that's what it said when connected), found it decent. Using SNBB 10mbps at home. Is 1mbps very slow? or good enuff in most of your experiences?v Singtel 1mbps $13.50 for 2yr contract, $22.5 for 1 yr 2mbps $18.5 for 2 yr, $ 26 for 1 yr Starhub (only 2 yr contract) 1.2mbps $14 2mbps $19.4 Singtel starhub Edited January 10, 2010 by Lala81 ↡ Advertisement
Albeniz Turbocharged January 10, 2010 Share January 10, 2010 I have been on Singtel mobile broadband for a few months. Used mostly during off-office hours and the weekends. So far no problem encountered.
Lorinser 1st Gear January 10, 2010 Share January 10, 2010 starhub works badly in punggol. i gave that up and change to singtel. check with someone that stays same location as you. starhub is not broadband... it's shareband. the more ppl use starhub in your area, the slower it will get. for your requirement, as long as youtube can play smoothly.... it's good enuff for you on the safe side... dun take starhub

Pratakosong 2nd Gear January 10, 2010 Share January 10, 2010 I have both starhub (comes free bundled with my home maxonline) which i use solely at home and a singtel BBOM which i use when i go out. I personally find that singtel speed slightly slower but its much more stable (ie can use on mrt, CBD, ulu areas) without any problems...
Raining Neutral Newbie January 10, 2010 Share January 10, 2010 used all 3 services on their mobile bb... in order of stability (most impt imo for mobile bb) 1)singnet 2)starhub (the coverage some bro mention is true, as mobile bb is basically ur hp network) 3) m1 (bad experience despite having supposely better mobile coverage) in terms of hardware, most of them uses huawei, which is pretty stable so far, no crashes or funny funny stunts as far as i can rem... Will_I_Am 2nd Gear January 10, 2010 Share January 10, 2010 I have both M1 and SingTel Mobile broadband. Don't bother with M1 - signal sucks big time. Always kenna disconnected or super slow speed. Think worse than 14.4kbps modem era. Singtel signal quality still acceptable and consistent. At 1Mbps, cannot complain already.
Duythangos Neutral Newbie January 10, 2010 Share January 10, 2010 I stay in West Coast garden and i used to try starhub and M1.... just two word : very bad. signal drop every half hour, then i switch to singtel, it's better
