125,000 km and still going strong :)

Yep, my ride hit 125,000 km in 3.5 years. Me and my better half do tag style driving that is why the heavy use. Overall car running smooth. My mother recently drove my car and first time behind the wheels of a light pressure turbo car and she was impressed.

Although she did not like the lowered springs and low profile tyres, but she like the car and the drive.

I did the usual servicing and also all the oil changes on time therefore car has been running well.

Externally will have to do some touch ups than the car would be looking good for the next 100,000 km.

Internally the car still looks good as I often upkeep it internally.

Anyone care to share about your ride?

My car is 3.5yrs with 45k mileage on it, can hear lots of rattling sound from in the cabin. Wear and tear is inevitable but the ride is still going strong(hopefully).

Exterior wise it's really in bad shape as i hardly maintain the car after 3yrs.

Still pondering how long i should keep the car.

(edited)

I just went for a full service.

1. Oil Change

2. Oil filter

3. Reset service.

4. Brake Fluid

5. Fuel Filters

6. All Spark Plugs

7. Auto Transmission Fluid

8. Strainer

9. Gasket

10. Wheel Alignment

11. Joint Dust Cover

12. Joint Inner and Outer Dust Cover

13. Upper Linkages

14. Replaced Springs to higher ones. (Previous ride was less than 1 finger - very tough on the family but a firm ride)

15. Grease Battery Terminal

Car running silky smooth and seems to feel like a new ride. Think will ride on awhile more before upgrading to the next Spb/Spb Combi or Yeti when they arrive to our shores. My wife and now my mom both addicted to the Skoda....I suspect the well built quality and turbo helps and my mom commented that it is smooth and drives well.

Mine just past 2 years, not too strong already. My aircon heater spoil, leaking inside which cause my coolant water level drop too. Servo said need to remove dashboard to replace. It will cost about $1K. [shocked] So ask our dear HA whether its still under warranty. They said they don't have all the old skoda car records.

So I decided to ask Servo to go for cheaper option to bypass the heater to stop the leaking. Now my car no heater.
