Where to buy SINGLE DIN DVD PLAY WITH SCREEN?

For Single DIN player with screen, the screen will either be small or got to be in-dash.

 

For what I know, JVC and Philips have such players.

i'm using one now ..dvd player and comes with 12cd changer..

 

engine off..the screen will fold nicely in..

I have a single din dvd player with a 3.5" screen. still interested? I will give you details of the unit if you still are.

I believe you must be driving either a Lancer or Sunny whereby the Headset

must be a single Din type.

 

I am driving a Sunny and using a Kenwood KVT-739 DVD with retractable Screen.

The Angle and Tilting is great as its the only one in the market with Z-action folding.

Not only can adjust the tilting, even the screen Protrusion can also be adjusted.

So with this HU, when the screen is up, Air can flow behind the screen nicely and

channel towards me which other HU unable to achieve.

Actually there are coversion kits for lancer to double din.. price about $260 with installation, but i prefer to get the single din h.u cost like the small hole below the h.u. Can keep things insde hahaha... Pls advise where to bu this model and price..

Today went to Audio Image at Sin Ming there..Friendly Boss Ted quoted $498 for Philips CED228 Single din bulit in when 3.5" LCD.

Look very sleek...

It is capable of playing DVD.

Any issues with condensation due to air-con vent just directly behind screen?

No Issue. Actually its even better since the screen is generating

certain amount of heat and the aircon is cooling the screen in a

certain extent.. The only issue I face is when I want to press the

Hazard Lamp, my fingers need to snake behind the screen and

its rather awkard and difficult.

I am in a bit of the same predicament as the topic owner. I am in need of Single DIN 7' Screen In-Dash DVD player which has bluetooth funcitonalities too.. Divx would be an added advantage. I have being hunting around for a place where i could purchase such a headunit but have not being successful so far. :( Would you guys by any chance be able to provide me with a list of places from which it would be likely for me to purchase such a player? It would really be a great great favour! :)
