Potex water cistern flushing system

Hi anyone knows where to get the round rubber seal for the valve inside the water cistern for Potex brand?

Want to DIY cos of water leakage... no point changing the whole flushing system because of a seal. [:p]

 

Been looking around for past 2 days but can't find the right size... [bigcry]

Market bad, so can save, save... ^_^

Ya lor. Those i found is smaller in size. According to the shop, only Potex brand can fit.

But dunno which hardware shop selling... [:(]

Current market do not carry this model (for Potex) already.

 

You need to change to another model (full set) - cost about 110 dollars including installation .

 

I am also facing this issue too.

Why not try going to a rubber shop to make it or maybe they have a similar size. sorry cant provide you more info, i'm just suggesting an option.

if not wrong,usually it's O ring

 

if normal rubber seal can cut

 

O ring seal usually find in those specialise equipment shop like compressor valve etc kind of shop and not normal hardware shop

 

industrial areas like pioneer north, ubi kind usually can find such shops

Just change the flushing system inside the tank loh and it include the rubber seal... If you cant find the right size, thats the only way out... I had the same problem as you and all I did it DIY... Change the flushing system in the tank. Can get it from any hardware stores if you want.. DIY your own toliet tank.... But make sure u clean your toliet first before doing that..... Unless u want to "SMELL" your own s--t... [laugh]

Saw different types of flushing system in DIY shop. Range between $30~50. Is the base thread to screw into the body standard size?
