Once our national paper starts to report on it, it would let people in high positions know that singaporeans are united in wanting justice be meted out and emotional and financial support be provided to the victims families.

 

Ultimately the important thing is not the severity of the punishment but the support to the victims.

We should not allow a "Let's move on" rubbish.

I have actually written to the Romanian press including the online news portal "Click" last week. I have included in it the news reports (web links) from Straits Times and a scanned copy of the New Paper's report previously. Not sure if that may have prompted them to interview that idiot.

 

I hope this guy gets his just desserts. As a man of stature, he should have stayed and helped, instead he chose to run and deny responsibility. I was enraged when I read the enws report and just wanted to do something.
