Will demerit points get reset when u take class 2B after 3

hello bros, i heard from a friend that if you get a class 2B licence after you hold a class 3 licence for more than a year, your demerit points limit will be reset to 12 again because class 2B and class 3 shares the same demerit points system. is this still true now?

 

even if this is true... there's no need to put on the P plate on your car even though your demerit points limit is reset to 12 right? (but of course u still gotta put on your P plate if u're riding a bike)

Yes. Take note that if you kena demerit more than 12 point within the one year after you get your class 2B, your class 3 will also be gone with your class 2B.

Yes, you only need to put P plate on your 2B bike as this is your first year having the bike license.

then what if u get class 2A later on? will the demerit points be reset ONCE AGAIN? if it's like that then quite sian 1 lolx..

So long u get new class, all ur existing class will be as P-plated pt. But triangle plate only applies to the new class..
