Okays, doesnt the new scheme have some loophole? If ppl dont buy eticket for the day they using, and never got caught. They can just choose to not pay because even if u r caught, u have till 2359hrs the next day?

 

LTA give us a window up to next day 2359 to buy ticket. If you haven't buy the ticket after 2359 the next day then they'll issue the summon on the 3rd day.....so how can you choose not to pay when you don't even know whether you're "caught" or not....until it's too late...

No,they wouldn't do it before the next day.They will do it weeks after.it's then that user got no reaction time.

Cmon, you think the gahmen is stupid? Of course they will only catch you when it's too late to redeem yourself. That said, they may take note of you using the car on the day you're suppose to buy the e-ticket but will not catch you until after 2359 the next day. Thereafter, when the summon come, how on earth are you going to escape? Do the Romanian Maneuvor?

I waiting for gahmen to have a site where the road users like STOMP to send in the lic plates of OPCs they see on road and run thru a computer and voila...easy $$ for gahmen

Does the new Saturday full day means that the OPC can be driven on the road on FRIDAY 7pm onwards TILL Monday morning 7am?

Not bad.......

The only bad is the COE now is more than $17k. IF using $20k COE as average, then still got to pay the gov $3k in extra money.

I think the best time to buy OPC was 2009 Feb-March, when the COE was onyl few thousands dollar! THat was a real discount for OPC car owners!
