Picnic or odyssey. The only problem is the fuel comsumption.

If you want to something reasonable with power and least fuel consumed per KM and dont mind slightly small space... Touran is the best.

i guess by 7-seater you mean the car able to take 7 1.75m adults comfortably as well as decent luggage for them??

that leaves only van for you mate...

not even the Alphard can take 7 adults with ease...especially if you want a proper boot to take your luggage especially on long hauls to malaysia...

i have sat in Fortuner and even the 2nd row of seats are pretty cramp for me, as the seats are low to the ground, like a sedan, forcing me to stretch out my legs instead of sitting upright...i guess 3rd row is only suitable for kids then...

i find the odyssey a bit too low for access to 2nd row, let alone 3rd row, even if it were meant for kids...boot space is useable though, with all 7 seats up...

you may consider the ssangyong stavic or grand voyager...but all that you're saying about yourself is that "you have your kids and now you're just waiting to die!" quoted from Topgear...

I drove up to Genting highland with 7 adults and 2 children. I thought my boot space may be limited but suprising we can put 4 travel bags (fabric type), 4 haversacks , 2 large plastic bags of hand snacks and children food and a umbrella stroller.... just nice and No, the content doesn't drop out when we open the back. Im driving a Nissan Lafesta. [thumbsup]

Conti? How abt Opel Zafira? or the C4?

Zafira when all seats are up, the boot can fit in a stroller (width) and 2 smaller bags. Definitely NOT luggage in the sense of the word.

Here are some details abt the following 2 MPVs

1) VW Touran - All 7 seats up boot size is 121 litres, 5 seats up 695 litres

2) Opel Zafira - All 7 seats up boot size is 140 litres, 5 seats up 645 litres.

hope it helps....but VW touran no spare tyre...only tyre patch kit.

Zafira full size tyre underneath the car.

hope it helps.

Hi guys, any idea which 7 seaters, whether SUVs, MPVs or Stationwagons, have a boot-space when all the seats are up? From what i see, most of them, when all the seats are up, have totally no boot space left, or only enough to put a mouse LOL

Cheers.

XC90. Thumbs up.

C4's trunk is small. Smaller than Zafira. Zafira C's trunk is smaller than Zafira B.
