This thread is funny. I guess is different culture.

Normally when someone says the car is under rated or under estimated.. Is usually sports car.. like what i mentioned MR-S, Integra/Civic Type Rs and even the famous AE86.

The Lotus Elise/Exige is an under rated super car.

Under rated sports car and super cars has a reason for the term under rated...

 

er.. those cars u mentioned are all pretty much highly rated and well liked by many. Even u said the AE86 is famous... famous is not under-rated

 

Under-rated is a good or even great car that few people bought, appreciate or even know of.

 

Which for me, my vote goes to the Phaeton. Crazily build/engineered, almost like a Bentley Conti, but no one bought it...

Dude... is under rated in terms of power. But the timing is amazing, if you get a driver with skills.

Not everyone can get that sort of timings with those cars i mentioned.

Famous is because people have managed to squeeze the juice of out those cars.
