1l0v3you Clutched February 11, 2010 Share February 11, 2010 Basically... those who feel delivery riders are pests... have this moral value that... people who are poor are pests. They will deny it but deep in their heart, they know it is true coz why else would they be bothered by people who can't hurt them ( bike vs car) and some try to disguise it by making claims such as "oh they will kill some pedestrian one day" ( far more pedestrians have been killed by cars you know?)... "they break traffic rules such as parking on void decks..." (conventionally ignore the fact that they themselves parked at double yellow lines just an hour ago). i agree. i think to have this mindset, you are being very gracious. but some even go to the extent of toying with the delivery guy's HELMET. and best part even come online to HAO LIAN how brave he is. very cruel human beings. instead of confronting them face to face they do all sorts of stuff to endanger this poor biker's life. when you're in your car at least you have some form of protection. when the bikers are on the roads all they have is the clothing they wear and their helmet. ↡ Advertisement
Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear February 11, 2010 Share February 11, 2010 hi!! ok so i do somewhat agree with you that toying with the rider's helmet is somewhat crude... but i have actually confronted them face-to-face before...and being the person they are, they do not give a darn about what you told them... then they'll just continue to ride like nobodies business on the road...riding recklessly, putting other innocent motorists and pedestrians at risks... like that, people may get the impression that it's ok to run them over cos they are cheap labour... when involved in accident, don't care about them... anyway it's their fault, and claim from their insurance?? these people really do need to be taught a lesson, especially the youngsters... Actually, I need to ask you one question 1st..... "Who are you to teach them a lesson??" Just because u see them riding recklessly, your self-proclaimed sense of righteousness acts up and u want to play modern Justice Bao?? That job is for the authorities, not you...... If you get involved in an accident with them and it's their fault, claim them like what u said.... They have to learn a lesson the hard way naturally, so be it.... But definitely not on malicious and deliberate mentality from you....... Does it mean that if I see u driving recklessly, i can use my keys and scratch your car?? Let's put it this way.... Everyone is young once.... U have done silly things in your life before when u were young.... Time passes.. U age, grow up, move on and laugh about those silly things done in the past.... There are alot of people who doesn't have the chance to live till tat day..... So live and let live.......
