they are jus trying to show off and look cool because that's the only thing they are capable of.

 

Perhaps they are paid by the number of deliveries they make. So they try to make more trip in the shortest amount of time.

i donno about mac bikes but i have seen some racing bikes which think they are riding macross' bike cum body armour....really really very fast :wacko::o

I have no time to list out all the stunts I have seen these people do but last night I witnessed a near collision when this McDelivery rider chose to kamikaze on with horns blaring instead of slowing down when a taxi entered the road some 100m ahead of the bike. In the end, the rider had to swerve into the opposite lane to avoid a self inflicted collision.

 

McDonald's should make their hired pests wear a big luminous number and a hotline for the public to complain. Agree?

 

 

FULLY AGREE to some extend!!

 

But they are life savers when you are hungry. Come on guys, lets not label them as PESTS. Its demeaning when they don't serve your purpose.

 

Just give them complusary road safety training as well as ample timing for food delivery. Some of these guys have to deliver a few places on a single trip. Do not forget, they are working to earn as well just like you and me. Have some compassion.

Well, surprisingly I have not heard of any major accidents involving these so-called pests in the news or stomp. So I reckon they do have the skills to avoid getting into serious accidents. However, on another note, riding like a devil will probably implicate other road users to get into serious trouble. So I dun really condone their ways of sending my deliveries...

Mcdelivery staffs are not under mcdonald payroll

 

if i'm not mistaken the riders are contract out to transnational courier service where the courier service provide them with riders

 

thats why u dont see them do in house duties such like helping to clear tables whatsoever

there is just 1 accident few months back near my house in bt batok. if i not wrong was kfc. P-Plate bike vs van. the guy was lucky that he only suffered some scratches on his chin after his helmeted-head went THROUGH the glass of the van. but the bike GGed. most probably he is speeding. they just got not enough experience and trying to test their luck.

I don't agree with this this logic. Everyone is trying to make a living but we should do it in a way that does not endanger or inconvenience others.

 

Telemarketers, MLMers, Sim Lim touts, ah longs, drug traffickers are all "making a living" too.

Motorcyclists do not transform into pests on the road just because they put on the McDelivery uniform. There is no power in that uniform...

 

It's the person behind the wheels...not Mac or that "power suit".

Telemarketers, MLMers, Sim Lim touts, ah longs, drug traffickers are all "making a living" too.

 

 

These delivery guys are just runners and making delivery in all kind of weather so that they can earn a few dollars BY SENDING FOOD TO SOMEONE'S DOORSTEPS.

They just bring you FOOD at A FIXED PRICE with NO ADDITIONAL HIDDEN CHARGES or T&C.

 

I am amused that you compare these guys with telamarketers who are taught to do sales sweet talk for something that most of the time you don't need.

Verses Sim Lim touts who sell you stuff who can be purchased perhaps at a lower price elsewhere.

Against Ah Longs who charge high interest rates and resort to underhand means to get it back.

This one best - drug traffickers : need not say more.

 

Sorry - I have the pleasant awkward moment with a food delivery guy who was drenching wet from the rain and SMILING at ME WHEN HE PASSED ME MY DELIVERED FOOD. It was still piping hot. I wanted to offer him a hot drink but he refused saying that he has another delivery a few streets away. It was still raininig (not very heavy though)

i think not only them, a lot of pizza, KFC & etc delivery rider are annoying.... but sometime, to think about it, they rushing everyday to eran that few more cents... i dunno whether to pity them, or to hate them. hope this group of road user will wake up their mind b4 more tragedies happened...

[thumbsup] pruss one for this comment. They are humans doing a job too. I have done mac delivery before. short stint just to experience what its like. trust me, its tough work! didn't really need the money anyway, just had the urge to gain some insights to life.
