Maybe the new car should have a option of not installing signal light.

coz i noticed that more and more people do not use their signal light. [shakehead]

I share the same thou as you. I hate driver who don't use signal. It is so common nowadays that you see drivers cutting into your lane abruptly without giving signal. As a matte of courtesy, I will give way to them if they have turned on their signal indicating their intention.

i signal only after i eat slightly into other lanes. (obviously only when safe to do so)

I use my judgement to not cause other pple to jam brake.... unless they Guai lan and speed up....

In SG context, there are more pple speeding up to close gaps then there are pple giving way to you.

i hate pple who signal, i give way then they proceed to slow down like they own the lane..........

There are ppl who signal & switch lane immediately. Sometime these driver don't even check blindspot.

Luckily, my horn cannot do intermittent horn (pin pin). Once press, it is a blast.

agree fully on all these!!! imo, these drivers got $$$ buy cars but maybe no $$$ change signal lights when spoil (giv them the benefit of doubt tat their signal is not working or bulb fused) [grin]

for tis, i hav to say tat it's still better for them to signal & change lane abrubtly than never even signal at all!!! but of cos my horn is changed to BMW horn so it's a way to say "thank you" to these drivers... [cool]

I observe that this type of drivers are mostly lady drivers, have come across many of them. Sorry ! Don't mean to offence the lady driver here.

one thing for sure

sg drivers detest one another

from the way you see their behaviours, you can sense it

most of the drivers have poor driving records, they have either been in accidents before or kenna demerit points before

ya.. totally dislike ppl who dun bother to signal.. esp those who start inching into ur lane when they are beside u n expect u to slow down for them to come in  i know friends who change lanes w/o signal n their reasoning is, i change lane faster than they can respond, why bother to signal. *faint*

him.. ya. i told him in the face, u r the kind of drivers i hate.. n almost everyday on the road, i get to witness, the 'striker' n 'defender' at play. striker = drivers who dun signal n defender = guy who refuse to give way.. the defender will jus keep blocking all attempts by the striker to change lane. once i even witness 2 cars playing this 'game' along bke, after a while the striker jus gave up and signal n the defender really reacted immediately n gave way.. guess he jus wanna prove his point. signal n i will let u pass..

ha! that happen to me too! when i jus got my license.. i realised if i flick the signal n let it flash for abt 3 times b4 changing lane, most cars will speed up n close the gap.. den after sometimes, i learn not to do tt.. what i do now, is check the blind spot, if there is space, i will flick the signal n change lane after one flash of the indicator n so far it works for me. :)

actually after driving for a while, i feel tt some drivers who signal, really like to take their time to change lane when the car slow down for them.. this is v frustrating as well.. hmmm..

this problem can't be overcome overnight...i got to admit...i am one of the them....in australia...i always signal...because they look out for me when I signal....here when I signal....they watch out for me too...but not watch for safety...but watch and make sure they step on the gas when I try to filter into their lane...but to be fair not all is like this...but then it is quite a big number...i still try my best to signal...but most of the time not for the drivers to see....but its for the riders safety....
