What happened at Horizon Foodcourt in Causeway Point

Saw from the news on Ch8 yesterday that the above mentioned foodcourt was closed for 3 days already due to some disputes with the foodcourt cleaning services blah blah blah...those stall owners have those worried faces...it will remain closed for another few days until the dispute is resolved...Xmas leh...

 

Thought the FC very popular there?everytime I go visit my sister then go makan there very difficult to find place to sit...like the korean food there and the stall selling 三杯鸡...think they lost at least 4 digit takings every day they stay closed...

 

Any bros here stay in woodlands?any comments?

Wah, serious? (I didn't pass by the foodcourt just now when I was there, so I dunno what happen)

 

The foodcourt is a major operator in Causeway Point. If they close it'll be a big blow to the mall.

no big deal, this one closed, got another one near the cinema that side. anyway, a new operator will always come in. the current stalls won't exactly be missed except may be 1 or 2 there.

hmm...but kinda always see there got lots of people eat there...maybe there are lots of good food nearby too!haha the pasar malam there near causeway point also very very big...

 

is the Uncle Ringo circus there already? went there for the rides before, expensive but quite fun.

hmm...the foodcourt will be taken over by Banquet which they have another FC on 7th storey. They will reopen on Xmas eve but some of the stalls will remain closed as they do not agree with the terms offered by the new operator. They will have to give up their stall most probably. The rest of the stalls will be monitored for the next 1 month on their performance and if they dun make the cut will probably asked to leave too and will be taken over by new stall owners.

 

FYI, the foodcourt will be renamed "Mega Foodcourt" and will be NON-HALAL although Banquet are well known for their Halal food which our Malay friends can enjoy their favourite Char Kuay Teow, Yong Tau Foo etc.
