nice amazing technology. superb how the animation is done. n i tink it is more difficult to act in such scenes then in real life sets. these scenes they hv to imagine everything. going to watch it next mon.

i watched it on 16 Dec, the 3D version. all i can say is, superb 5 stars production!

James Cameron is really redefining the whole work-flow for visual effects with Avatar.

 

Expect a big paradigm shift in the post-production industry.

Avatar in 3D ? 3 letters- WOW!

 

I mean T2 was eye opener, Titanic was heartwarming, Transformer 1 was jaw-clenching, Bourne series was fantastic story telling, but Avatar was like spell binding, i almost did not realize my mouth was open till a long way into the movie.

 

A Must-watch show in the cinema. I cannot imagine having the same effect watching on our tv screen. And pay a few dollars more for the 3D.

 

Well that was more than 3 letters but i will stop here.

Thanks. I went to Universal theme park and they had this 3D short film where you put on the glasses. the 3D comes from some actions like throwing a yoyo and you can see it jump off the screen.. things like that. but its so so.. people who have seen JAWS 3D will know its not 3D all the time.

 

so maybe you can give a bit more idea for me? I really want to know if its like holographic effect and for the whole film, not just a few scenes here and there. Thanks.
