Pisces69 6th Gear December 26, 2009 Share December 26, 2009 I always prefer people tail-gate me. Gives me a chance to claim against them and at the same time touch up on my dents and stratches at the back.. =================== Thats OK if your car is a bit older. free touch-up & repair but for those driving new new cars, Remember even after the car has been repaired, it might not b as good as original as the seams might leak or some welds or joints might have been weakened. These faults might not show immediately but only after some time which wil b too late to get it re-done by the WS. ↡ Advertisement

Whatthe 1st Gear December 31, 2009 Share December 31, 2009 I had a Colt tailgate me before. It was quite funny. He tailgated me all the way from AYE - ECP to the Rochor exit and I was heading to Suntec city. And the ERP gantry was on at the bend into Suntec. I drove through. He jammed brake before the gantry. I didn't know if there was an accident but I drove away snickering.

What if accident happens? Van not paying attention? Get stranded on the expressway for a couple of hours. Other road users might get involved in accident as well. You must enjoy taking public transport for a couple of days so that workshop can repair your car. And you must enjoy writing "statement" for your insurance company. Although you have lost nothing except lots of time. All that trouble for what? To make a point? If you happen to die in the accident, no one will even pity you. Subutai 3rd Gear April 5, 2010 Share April 5, 2010 This morning as I was turning out from my car park to join a 2 lane main road, there was a SFYxxE honda city on the left lane which i estimated to be around 200m away. I can't say whether he is speeding but after I turned out and was accelerating fast, he caught up and high beam + horn at me + tail gate. I gestured whats up at him and saw no response. From my carpark turning out, it was then red lights around 150m away so i have to brake as there were also stationary cars waiting for green lights to proceed. When we reached there, lights turned green and he signalled left immediately to the housing estates. To the driver of this honda, what is your problem?? Kia0042 2nd Gear April 5, 2010 Share April 5, 2010 I am glad that I don't meet tailgater these days. Tailgater may need to think twice if they want to tailgate me or rather say I'm not their target anymore.
Civic6228 6th Gear April 5, 2010 Share April 5, 2010 Just to share, I had this very interesting encounter as well with a tail gater on last Thursday evening. Was in a taxi from the airport travelling home to CCK on Thursday evening at aroung 8 pm. Was travelling on the right lane on BKE and saw a Red Renault (SF XXXX) - (cannot remember the number plate) driving very fast in the centre lane and getting real close to the white SWIFT next to my cab. Next he cut out and tail gate the cab that I was traveling in. I took out my digi camera and "pretend" to take photos. There was some flashing and he back off to about two car lengths. By the way, due to the darkness and the beam from his car, no image was captured. What follow was interesting as he followed the cab all the way to my home. I would like to thank him to escort me home and i felt real good ........... By the way, he could have easily cause an accident as some inexperience driver may panic and step on the brake with his tailgating .... I was thinking maybe he is looking for a new bumper or looking for a reason to re-spray his car. For whatever reason, we all share the road and we should spare a thought for the other users ..... Drive Safely as if there is an accident .... all parties have to spend $$$$$$$$. Cheers
