Mediacorp has annouce that tvmobile will be discontinued from 1st jan 2010.

Way past time. I have been hoping for TV Mobile to shutdown ever since the first day it started.

pardon my ignorance, what is tvmobile? i see it on buses, and it looks like just normal tv like ch5 or ch8.

but if ch5 and ch8 is free to air, then why have another channel like tvmobile?

It is normal TV, just mobile, so people can "watch TV on the go".

 

Sometimes also got CNA and Central (now Okto) programmes.

 

Oh well. Was a stupid idea anyway.

last time they say increase bus fare coz then the bus got so many things. now got one less thing, how?

Now they will say cannot raise revenue from advertising. So need to raise again lor.

Bus fare will go up. Because they have invested the infrastructure and now, loss the advertisement revenue. So, they need to charge this to the commuters...
