Maddriver 4th Gear December 11, 2009 Share December 11, 2009 bro..original matt or re-spray b4? if re-spray before..avoid wheel cleaners..if original..try wheel cleaners and if brake dust still dun comes out..use degreaser and a brush..this is how i deal with my berlingo caked up brake dust.. Fcuktion Neutral Newbie December 11, 2009 Share December 11, 2009 If its a painted set of wheels, i would say go for wheel brighterner that has some acid in its content. Made life damm easy for me with BMWs, they have damm scary brake dust. if can't really fully remove, some may be tar deposits. Use some Tar Remover. Fcuktion Neutral Newbie December 12, 2009 Share December 12, 2009 I believe WD40 would do for the tar deposits. Try it out on the inner barrels 1st. good luck!

Melvinyuen 2nd Gear May 25, 2010 Share May 25, 2010 maybe can remove the wheel one by one and scrub? use WD40 and clean the wheels one by one then put it back. Confirm clean and shiny. And will not harm the brakes too. :D
Puteh83 1st Gear May 25, 2010 Share May 25, 2010 just a thot on these cleaners.. do drop by major supermarkets in batam the next time u r there. it's dirt cheap.
Ken4555 1st Gear May 25, 2010 Share May 25, 2010 a suggestion... go to that big workshop along bendermeer road... before Eminent Plaza... they got this machine can put ur rim in and come out like new... think they have a promo now like $5 per rim... i think... foe me i never have this problem... when i 1st got my rims... i applied a thick coat of wax/sealant... when ever wash car just hose the rims and its shiny... just like the paintwork.. prevention is better than cure... ↡ Advertisement
