Depends on what tyres you used, and how you used them. I've no problems getting mileage of 40k from the extreme performance tyres from BS.

I have mixed feelings about Bridgestone tyres.

My pervious experience years ago was that they dont last long. Tried 2 sets and worn out in 10 months and 1.5 years.

But recent positive feedback got me tempted again.

anyone heard of the bridgestone promotion? saw from BS website, purchase a set of tyres then can get minimum $50 fuel vouchers depending on which BS tyre shop u go to. anyone tried it yet? thinking of purchasing a set of GR90.

Bought my set of 195/60/15 GR90 three weeks ago from AL tyre. No promotion at that time [bigcry]. My previous set was GY hybrid II given to me by a friend at its 3rd month before he sold his car. The GY tend to spin on wet road whenever I move off from traffic light [shakehead] . GR90 grip is much better wet and dry, but louder compare to GY. Can hear the roar immediately after the change. Overall still like the GR90 [thumbsup] .

Now my GR-90 just reach the 10k stage and the durability of the tyres is still as manificient. The sidewall is hard enuf to counter Few accidental side brushes with MSCP carpark kerb and its properties is exactly what they claimed as Comfort tyre. Its so Quiet, so reliable, offer good grip in the wet as well & its so comfy....

Bought it last year june and immediately swap the existing stock Yoko DNA dB Decibal tyres on my new car to these manificient tyres and enjoy my ride tremendously with the GR-90 tyres which satisfy all the ingredients that I wanted for in a tyres and give me the confident to drive & chiong safely in the wet heavy pouring rain while crusing above the limits of all the expressway I ever come across & never look back ever since.

I was given 2 $10 discount voucher for Shell petrol and was given free Nitrogen topup as well as free 10k milage wheel alinement & Balancing.

i bot my GR80 1 year ago. Costs $260/pc for 215x45x17.

i assume now will easily cost $300/pc. Everywhere bor stock also. [sweatdrop]

Recently just change to Kumho KU-31. Threads are bigger and costs much less. Only $145/pc.

Quite economical. i dont mind changing tyres every year. ^_^

Their quoted price $155/pc. They took in my GY for $20/pc (thread still thick, my friend bought from them.) So I paid $135/pc. Total $540. Every tyre shop will do balancing if you change tyre from them. No nitro fill up for my case.

GR-90 15k km already.

Quiet.

Good grip in wet/dry if u drive normally. Will get it for my next tyre change again!

It's not a cheap tyre. But these 4 pieces of rubber can make a difference to my life. So i rather pay a bit more.

changed to GR90 from conti CPC2. on 195/55/R15. I feel that that the tyre does not perform as well in the wet as the CPC2. Had a few times when I went through puddles and felt a lot of resistance while going through. Feels as the water cannot be dispelled fast enough. CPC2 gives me a lot of confidence when in the wet.

Would definitely go back to using CPC2 if I have the chance to.

Got the GR90 at $150/pc about 3 months back.
