If you want the above, please look for low's motor. If not, please stay away. You will be better off going to stamford. They kill but at least, they have air con room and they are responsible. Car with TC same model can slower than NA same model? Can u explain why his turbo slower then NA? u mean electrical turbo is it????? But if electric can blown engine, that mean too high boost. But as Creative_tec said, low turbo will slow down then stock, it must be electric rubbish turbo or else how a turbo can make a car slower then stock yet still can blow off the engine. Too powerful or weak turbo??????? that time got a stupid wkshop, mod a euro r, they turbo it. they build up the internal, from hi com to low com, use a forester stock turbo, run low boost. u think faster than stock or not? Smhomie Clutched December 1, 2009 Share December 1, 2009 nobody with experience to share ?? this thread is not a electrical turbo thread... thanks I do not know what car you are driving but if you need to service/rebuild your turbo because of CHRA (center housing rotating assembly), why not buy the rebuild kits and DIY? Not difficult at all if its MHI or IHI turbo. I have 1st hand expereince with turbo low in 2006 period. I brought my own exhaust parts, resonator, hi-flow cat, flexible elbow, o2 bung, all he did was welding and he charged me $850.00 no materials supplied, only labour from him. Quoted me $300 max for everything but in the end when collecting car.... another price, more than double... I thought Fong Kim (another disappointment) and Jeep Chee was bad enough but LOW is even worse! It was MIG welding somemore...... I asked him to do TIG welding on my SS316 tubing. Its been 4 years but I still get angry thinking about his work. The Miller weld set was not used! 3014 filler rods were not there in the attap shop also! I will never recommend anyone to go to his damn Sungei Kadut attap shop ever. He seem proud and more interested to talk and show off his stupid racing cart to people. His two children (one son, one daughter helping in the attap shop) know that I was very angry at the rip off price but dare not speak up because the father is there...... useless buggers Please all who read, DO NOT go to turbo low aka LOW's MOTOR. Avoid at all cost. Cannot trust, cannot make it. He had blown other customers' cars and uses salvaged parts to build a turbo kit. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lekkie Neutral Newbie December 1, 2009 Share December 1, 2009 last time I de-cat there $300, than he kui toh my muffler another $200. Than buy 1 vacuum tank from him $170. Nearly spend another $2.3k there to buy a low's fuel pump. Than he will advise u to change to his self made turbo kit that claims no turbo lag. And he will tell you to drill your brake rotor. change to high temp pads. Than he keeps on telling his go kart story. And when I went to see him race go kart at Jurong, I actually found out that his kart is a fun kart, not a go kart. Fun kart is the very slow type.
