Kxbc Turbocharged November 24, 2009 Share November 24, 2009 I do find the CTE ERP hours at the Bradell area towards AMK uncalled for. Up to 10.30pm? A bit xiao lah. Go home also kanna charged. Perhaps can reduce to maybe 9pm will be better for family life. 9pm still can regulate traffic flow for those leaving work at around 8+pm.
Mits_jc 5th Gear November 24, 2009 Share November 24, 2009 To LTA wardens patrolling car forum: Traffic has been exceptionally smooth too for me. Keep up the good work (of reducing the rates).

Ryosuke 1st Gear November 24, 2009 Share November 24, 2009 it's an open secret that ERPs are more towards generating income for them rather than keeping the traffic smooth. isn't the primary role for ERP is to remove the human booth issuing coupons to cars entering City area in the first place? due to the huge revenue generate from these ERPs, it seems like LTA had too much of a deviate from it's orignial purpose for building ERPs. now ERPs are just appearing anywhere from city to your neighborhood with complimentary bus lanes incl. KVR666 Neutral Newbie November 24, 2009 Share November 24, 2009 Aiyoh, you still haven't heard? The latest findings of a global survey has named Singapore the world's top producer of cows & milk, even ahead of New Zealand. Why? Cos citizens are all cash-cows and gov keep milking us 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, in any & every way they can.

I used to live on a farm, and daddy used to milk cows - thats when you learn what cold is! 5am and -1 to -3 celcius, no gloves as must handle the milking machines.... Hermitage 1st Gear November 24, 2009 Share November 24, 2009 Oh, generating income. Defintely. The more congested the road is, the more they'll wanna put up gantries 'cos more cars passing through means more income. Simple! There's this gantry along upper bukit timah road towards the city which comes on at 8am. Does absolutely NOTHING to ease traffic flow! It's similiarly congested no matter what! IMO, COE is the most effective tool to reduce vehicles, but sometimes or rather, it seems that the results are rigged? $1 COE remember?
