Run on both petrol and CNG possible ?

Is it possible for a car to run on both petrol and CNG ?

yes there should be a automatic switching device, when CNG run out it switches to petrol mode to run the vehicle.

err... the switch will be installed together when u installed your CNG.... it comes in a package

there's a catch. There will be an alternative fuel tax which will be implemented in a year or 2, depends whether gov want to extend the current tax exemption.

 

there is only 2 CNG station in SG, one in mandai , near the water treatment place between jurong and clementi.

one more in jurong island i think.

espically a lot of ppl feedback got other problems that comes with cng... eg. power loss. In addition, the cng prices has rose quite a bit. so the upside to it is rather small at the moment...

 

but it's good for the enviroment...

 

unless the govt makes a stand to support this by eg. reduce road tax, give rebate for green car, I think i'll give it a miss ...
