Yeah nice colour some more...except for the multicoloured steering wheel...didya see that? BTW, the cheapest cheapest startlet on the market only selling for $1.9k here:- Cheapest Starlet

 

Maybe some guys can pool together and buy it for scrap parts hehe....actually much cheaper to buy a halfcut from North....

haha its like tat lah. looking at the selling price i believed most of the goodies had been stripped clean.

 

 

This is what he told me in sms...

 

1st sms... "Disappointed to see my car in such a state... front lip removed, seats changed, rims changed."

 

2nd sms... "The steering wheel also taken out... my loud exhaust too... I miss this car at times too... I have taken care of it real well..."

 

 

 

I remmeber his exhaust was Remus, very vava boomz one

Oooooo EP70!...due to scrap May 2010 right?

 

I would love to take over the following from the owner:

 

1) A/C Compressor (Seller mentioned freezing A/C)

2) Wiper Arms (I just broke one the driver side wiper arm spring this morning while attemping to give it a new coat of paint)

3) Boot Arms

Worth going down to take a look. If the car's got decent stereo (CD), good tires and good 3E engine, you might want to haggle the dealer down to $1400, drive the car for 6 months and then rip out all the goodies before you scrap.

Oh no..I'm currently driving an EP70 already...I'm looking at buying or taking over some of his parts before he scraps his vehicle if he doesn't manage to sell his car...

Well, as I said. It's worth taking a look. If the dealer reckons he can't sell the car anyway, he might flog off the parts to you for a song before he deregisters the vehicle. But since the COE on the ride is almost half that of the prevailing COE, he'll most probably lower the price to try and sell it. He probably only paid paper value + a little for the car anyway.

BTW Bro's I went to check out Chenoire's leads in anor post on a Starlet going to be scrapped but was too late...some lucky guy got it already [bigcry] Since I was there, I saw anor Starlet that was going to be scrapped and its the EP80 in this thread but with almost everything stripped out already. H/w it still had a surprisingly good condition stock 1E engine in the bay, ultra racing struct bar, good back seats and a nice white dash. I took some pics but will claims first dibs on the UR struct bar and back seats :)

 

Others interested can PM me and I will put u in touch with the dealer. Sad to see such a nice engine goto waste, also white meters kinda cool...

 

Will post pics up soon as i can find the USB cable to connect my fone to the PC <_<

Hi Bro,

 

Are you talking about the Gun Mxxtal Starlet with Quadlights? If yes, I actually went down to have a look on that car few weeks ago. Was abit disappointed when I saw the engine cos I expected more. The rear is a 3 point UR struct (impressive) and the white meter is not lighted up when I turn on the lights. Maybe it was disconnected beforehand cos I saw a big hole underneath the aircon outlet at the driver's side. Rear boot arms also not in good condition.... Stiff and got sound. I believe alot of goodies was stripped by the previous owner. As for the price..... Willing to let go (lowest) $5600 and take in mine at $3600.

 

After that, I walked off. If he is will to let go cheap for the parts, I think can go for it but must check the condition.
