This is one movie I remember watching at the cinema when I was a very young kid. I still have the VCD of the original.

 

Hmmm, Mr Terminator prototype as Perseus.

correct me if i'm wrong, but is this the show whereby to fight medusa, he has to use the magic shield?

 

then he beheads her later on.

 

then the last part to fight the sea monster, he show the monster medusa's head or something?

 

This trailer is jogging back some memories! hahaha

 

a movie to look forward to!

I saw the 81 ver when I was a very young kid. Could recall some flying horses.

 

As for medusa, he needs to use a shield, a normal one will do, dun have to be a magical shield. Cos he needs to see when medusa is to kill it, but cannot have direct eye contact as this will turn him into stone, thus using the shield to see the reflection.

i can imagine that time watch, must be like waaaaah! but if watch that same 81 movie now....

The ending was where he showed the Medusa head to the Kraken and it turned into stone. Wonder how it would turn out for this remake?

 

I think the SFX was done by Harryhausen who also did for other movies like Jason and the Argonauts. Can anyone verify?

 

Maybe Mediacorpse can show the old version since they like to telecast re-run shows
