Kelpie 2nd Gear November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 Hi all, Is it a matter of personal taste or a psychological thingy (de-stress) that we see car drivers putting soft/stuffed toys in the car? You could even find them in luxury cars. What do you guys think? Thank you. Regards, ↡ Advertisement
Yuan 6th Gear November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 (edited) To relieve stress....Driving in Singapore is getting more and more pressurized..... Soft toys may help to lighten the driver or the day. Usually it is the princesses on board of the vehicles who own these toys. Edited November 5, 2009 by Yuan

Drive_carcar Clutched November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 Usually it's the ladies of the guy who owns the car that put all those toys there. But for my car, I insist that it is functional and minimalistic, except for the gadgets that I put in, there's very few items inside. Easier to care for. Ender Hypersonic November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 Put statues of deity of various religion better, so the dashboard becomes something like a mini altar table. Most thieves wouldn't want to smash the windscreen with so many fierce looking deity staring back... Usually see these in lorry or van.

Ogima Neutral Newbie November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 the GF put the toys there to indirectly tell any female passengers that the driver is attached. any displacement of the toys tell the GF that someone "girly" have taken the passenger seat. my friend hide the toy when he fetch another but forget to put it back when fetching his GF..... Watwheels Supersonic November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 They have the soft toys for their children. If one of the rear windows got a lot of cartoon character stickers, that pretty much confirms it.
Hiphiphoray 6th Gear November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 Soft toys not so critical. How much dust can a toy collect ? You should be more concern on the frequency of internal vacuuming of your car. I use to do that weekly at Jbee. But now too far for me liao.
Kxbc Turbocharged November 5, 2009 Share November 5, 2009 (edited) It started with one cos the wife wants a soft toy to hug during the ride. Then she bought a baby Tigger and placed it on the dashboard because it reminds her of one of our cats. Now we have 3 baby Tiggers, 1 Stitch, 1 Dale and the original tiger in the car. [laugh] But it's ok lah. The baby Tiggers help me relieve stress when I get stuck in traffic jams. They are pleasant to look at. Btw, I bought the Stitch.
