Children and their Invisible Friends: Some children are born with invisible friends. Everyday at a certain location (it is either their bedrooms or the playroom) one hears the child playing and talking to an invisible friend. At an early stage, when the parents were to ask the child who is he playing with, he will say his friend 'Gobi' or 'Toto', and points towards the empty space. If the parent were to scold the poor child not to be idiotic, as there is no one there, the child will be confused and hurt. The child will from thence onwards refrain from mentioning the invisible friend. If on the other hand, the parents were very sympathetic to the situation and inquire more about the friend, and gently inquire what are they playing or talking about, then the situation will be fine. The child will continue with his or her invisible playmate, and no secrets need be kept from the parents. The invisible friend normally will take their permanent leave of the child when the child is seven years old and above.

After the spirit leaves the corpse for good, several things may happen. Some of them will be met by spirit guides in their earthly bedrooms, and they are quickly led away to the spirit world by these guides. At this point they may or may not be met by relatives or friends. After some greetings and catching up of events, the individual is then led away by the guides to a place for a rest. If the subject has been ill for a long time on earth, he will be sent to a convalescent home for a prolonged rest and healing. Some, however, will either go through a dark tunnel or climb up a flight of stairs towards the white light. Here, he will meet loved ones, i.e. dead relatives or friends who will happily greet him and explain the situation he is in. Then a life review will take place: it is at this juncture that the individual will see his good deeds or his mistakes throughout the life that has just passed. Or this review may take place at a later date, when the deceased has completely recovered from the ordeal of crossing over. Little acts of kindness appear to be of importance. Then he is taken to the realm where he has earned the right to reside. This entirely depends on how the individual performed in the recent life just passed.

Better be safe than sorry.....

1) Knocked before you enter the room. Keep the door slightly open to let the cold wind (or spirits) out before you go in.

2) Check all closets and underneath bed (people were murdered and hidden underneath beds and closet, and not discovered till later).

3) Place your holy items on the table. (eg. amulet, bible, talisman)

4) If you have two beds, untidy or place luggage on the other bed to signify it is occupied.

5) Place one shoe faced up, and the other faced down (a chinese myth of Yin/Yang to ward away spirit)

6) Say your prayers if being "disturbed". If it doesn't work, start swearing loudly. It was said that swearing does chase "them" away.

7) If you are being "pressed" down by spirits, that is unable to move your body. Although there was a psychological term to this symptom and

explanations. Some claimed they witness spirits sitting down on their body. Try to wriggle your toes, fingers. You will gain your movement back slowly.

8) If felt eerie, hairs started standing... a chinese way of cure is to use your index and middle finger to form the "sword" sign. Write the chinese word 罡 or the shape of Yin/Yang in the air. It was said to to be of an emergency help in chasing the spirits away.

Good luck. smiley-face-angel-006.gif

They look normal, just that their eyes are open, yet are focused somewhere beyond what they are looking at.

And the fact that they walk through stuff distinguishes them from people.

They don't look at me, but I've heard there are people who can talk to them.

they got legs?

do they "walk" or simply glide/float?
