I just went to mend one of the rear tyre at City Tyres at Lavender about 1 hour ago and the Indian chinese speaking guy charged me $10/- for the sticky brown colour thing like earth worm .Is this consider expensive???

i had mine done for $6, at some shop at alexandra, but doesn't last long, only about 3k milage, not their fault really, brought to other shops and they said the hole is too big for patching, so I guess it's better to know if it's worth patching in the 1st place

I did mine recently at the Caltex station along Woodlands road for $6. In fact I had two punctures on the same tyre over 2 weeks but at diferents spots on the tyre. Don't think my tyre will last for long now.

average price for the 'earthworm' patching or 'tyre plug' i think should be 8 sgd in sg.

10 buks consider max. 6 buks is low. but that is only temp patching .

 

internal patching with a rubber patch more pro , but depending on tyres size and high, low profile , the cost can vary from 15 sgd to 40 sgd per patching .
