I am amazed that she has outlasted the 15 minutes of fame accorded to nitwits like her... why is she still being given attention in the press?? She's an insult to all entities with "Ris" in their names... Pasir Ris, High Risk, Low Risk, the Risk boardgame, Paris the City, Paris the Hilton... [rolleyes]

if you read carefully

she is taken out of context or her words have been twisted in some but not all of her statement

 

if you note carefully

she is a media target for now and she is playing into their hands

i feel sorry for her

the media is one sick entity

 

why the media dont concentrate more important issues like national building, how to make more money, why lehman investors should not be compensated and etc

Maybe this is the master plan behind the media and their masters all along... divert the attention to low-risk issues like ris, from the more important issues like w t f the government is doing to increase the value of citizenship for the singaporeans, what with the GE around the corner.

She just has to say "No" to all interviews with the media, and everybody will forget soon.. But being a publicity whore, I doubt she'll give up any interview, even knowing the outcome that her words will be taken out of context to make her look bad.

sometimes when the media paint you such a bad image

you get desparate to want to try do everything to get it right

 

i am sure when you are push to a corner there are times when you can do almost anything legal or otherwise to get the "thing" corrected

let give her a chance

 

lets remember she was independently elected to be Miss Universe representative of singapore

how many of us can claim such an achievement

most of us can only eat sai

so lets give her some breathing space

that is the problem in our society

when I was living in a kampong

the first thing the village chief will do if someone has done wrong is not to punish him or her but to see what is the root of the problem

it could have been their friends or parents that have pushed them to what they are doing

 

here in today's society we tend to blacklist anyone that has committed crime or does not conform

but remember there are alot other there that have not been caught and worse

there are some that have commit similar crimes and are accusing fellow citizens

 

let us be more gracious

how do you think our next generation would be like

 

if we have leaders that lead us in the next generation that blacklist us or throw us one side with a single mistake then why complain about the MIWwe are practicing exactly that

 

like religion, religion is meant for the sinners and not those already saved

I almost vomited watching her latest YouTube video. Never have I seen someone more disgusting than her. The media was luring her into the limelight and being a media-hungry, attention-seeking person, she stepped right into the trap. Actually, I should not call it a trap cos a trap is for an unwilling party. Anyway, I was expecting to see more comical moments but instead of that, I was totally put off with the way she spoke and when she lifted off her top, that's it! I closed my browser! It was a scene that was beyond disgust. It was revolting.

 

The media is turning her into a comical figure, a figure for us to mock at, to expose more of her flaws and yet she's stupid enough to continue immersing herself into the circus, making her look even worse.

 

I've ever seen a more pathetic person than her.

Uu sure is the media's fault? Wadeva the media wants her to do, she can choose to REFUSE. She didn't. That's all. Everything started from her and she has the right to control everything. But she chose to continue with her 'image'
